Governor of Victoria Export Awards – Ten-Rose Finalist

9th October, 2013 magical times when Ten-Rose Simmental were Finalists in the Governor of Victoria Export Awards for Simmental Genomics (Beef Quality & Tenderness) Innovation. Victorian Governors for over 30 years have recognized the contribution & achievements of Victoria’s most talented and pioneering exporters. Click on Governor for details.  Governor Alex Chernov and Louise Asher Minister for Trade officiated on the evening.  Government House Melbourne,  is the official residence of the Governor of Victoria.  Opened in 1876, designed by William Wardel.  Italianate architecture, it is the grandest Government House in Australia.

From the sand raked car park, to the massive ballroom, dining room, billiard room, fine art, exquisite sculptures and red wine on the fountain lawn…….it was a moment in time not to be missed.

Simmental were the only breed of cattle represented on the night.  Talented designer,  John Petty Glyndebourne Simmentals made a guest appearance.
